Old houses are only hotels if we compare their life to the lives of their inhabitants. They stand still, protecting their yard from noise of the traffic. It grows generations of children and is guarded and surveilled by the eyes of ancient ladies whose knowledge of the life of this house is more than any secret police might have ever dreamed to possess. And still this house bears the scars and patches of the lives that went by while it stood. Strange feeling that stones are alive and are watching sadly people come and go. Bearing secrets never to tell.

Amazing atmosphere. Nice contrast between the clean reflection of the glass and the matted finish of the walls.
